Group Volunteers

Service Project Experiences for Groups and Organizations

Is your organization or group looking for place to volunteer together? Sunset Zoo offers group volunteer opportunities to our community members!

How does your group sign up?

In order to participate in a service project experience for groups and organizations at Sunset Zoo, you will need to complete and return the request for service form to Nicole Wade, Programs and Education Animals Manager at zoovolunteer@cityofmhk.com

On the form you will be asked to choose three possible dates, that are acceptable to you, for engaging in your group volunteer experience. We will choose the date of your experience from one of the options you list. Please list in order of preference. If you would like to volunteer on more that one day, please fill out separate forms for each occurrence and make sure to choose at least two date options that are different on each form. We require at least one week to review forms before notifying you of the date chosen for your experience. Volunteering date options must occur at least 2 weeks after application is submitted. You will receive notification of your volunteer date no sooner than the Thursday following your application submission, but at least one week prior to your experience.
