Zoo Special Events
We host a variety of community events each year including Earth Day in April, Wine in the Wild in June, Water Safari and Brew at the Zoo in August, and SPOOKtacular in October. We also have several special discounted admission days throughout the year including Community Appreciation Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Kids Free Days each summer, Military Appreciation Day and more.

Santa's Luminary Trail
Join Sunset Zoo as we celebrate the holiday season with a lighted luminary walk around the Zoo, activities with Santa, arts and crafts, storytelling, cookies, and more! This family-friendly event is a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and indoors in a great environment.
