Nature-Based, Science Learning
Sunset Zoo is your year-round destination for nature-based learning adventures. Our classes and camps provide attendees an up-close exploration of the natural world, featuring live animal encounters and guided Zoo tours. Trained staff bring to life a variety of educational topics from animal adaptations to wildlife conservation.
Early Childhood Programs
Sunset Zoo offers multiple classes for preschool aged children, including Creature Features and Sensory Safaris. In addition, Sunset Zoo partners with the Manhattan Public Library to offer a free story time program, Zoofari Tails. For more information on these programs, click here.
School Age Youth

Pre-Teen & Teen Opportunities
Pre-teens and teens ages 10 through 17 can participate in Sunset Zoo's Junior Conservation Crew, Junior Zookeeper, Z.O.O. Crew After School Program, and Zoo Teen program. For more information, click here.
