  • FrogWatch of the Flint Hills - Sunset Zoo hosts the local FrogWatch USA Chapter
  • Black-Footed Ferret Reintroduction - Sunset Zoo and the Friends of Sunset Zoo provide volunteer and financial support for the reintroduction program taking place in western Kansas.
  • Konza Beekeepers Association - Beyond hosting our own honey bee hives, Sunset Zoo supports the Konza Beekeepers Association by hosting their monthly meetings and trainings.
  • Monarch Butterfly Waystation - Sunset Zoo partners with the Riley County Research and Extension Master Gardeners to house a Waystation in addition to other butterfly/pollinator conservation efforts.
